Gathering Ground - Runwal Greens, Mulund
So I was here on a weekday. This is a place serving vegetarian food. Since it was raining the place had very few customers. The ambience was okay esp. due to the issue of few mosquitoes (probably due to rains) which kept irritating me a little bit. Anyways coming to the food part, we placed our order for the following:- Spinach Corn Cheese Bites:- Small balls made of spinach and sweet corn and deep-fried. Quite a recommended dish. American Chopsuey:- This was really a good savory dish with saucy stir-fried veggies and served with crispy noodles. It was spicy but yummy. Bruschetta:- This is the classic starter with finely chopped tomatoes with garlic and basil served on french toast and dressed with some olive oil. Aglio Olio Spaghetti:- Italian pasta with sundried tomatoes, garlic, bell peppers, and black olives, tossed in olive oil and served with some garlic bread. Jeera Rice & Paneer Tikka Masala:- We opted for the regular paneer tikka masala as they also have the option of Jain preparation in most of the food items. Had specifically told them to make the paneer less spicy but turned out to be little spicy. Not for me of course, but one of the family member. As for me I got to finish the tikka masala and rice and I am not complaining at all. :) Overall, the food was good and the ambience was okay with the only irritation caused due to mosquitoes. My report card on Gathering Ground:- Ambience:- 3.5/5 Food: 4.5/5 Service: 4/5 Location: 5/5
