BKC | Dive
Visited this place for a Sunday Brunch. I strongly recommend that you book a table here before your visit as it generally runs out of tables within 1.5 hrs of the start of brunch. The best part is the brunch lasts for 5 hours people.
Anyways, coming back to the review now. This place is located on the ground floor of Pinnacle Tower in BKC. The interior is mostly like that is currently trending and the place is spacious enough with a lot of tables. We sat at a table for 6 whereas we were just the 2 of us. Guess perks of being a food blogger (not that we asked for a big table).
Vinay who attended our table was kind enough to run us through the options of our Sunday brunch. We opted for 2 Sunday Brunch @ Rs. 699/- and to 1 of the brunch, I added another Rs. 400/- (for the unlimited Beer & Sangrias). Under the 699/- option you are anyways entitled to unlimited mocktails. You get 10 starters (Veg & Non-veg). So basically it is a catch at this price.
So Vinay got us the variety starters on our table and then we got busy devouring them (I got busy devouring them as my partner was focused more on the salads and eggs).
Veg Crispy:- This dish made justice to its name by being crispy and also a little bit medium spiced. Liked it.
Rissoto Balls:- Stuffed rice balls coated with bread crumbs and deep fried to perfection. I totally loved this.
Corn Tikki:- Baby corns marinated and tandoor roasted served in skewers. Kind of OKAY dish.
Tandoori Baby Corn & Cauliflower:- This was a spicy dish and again missed to tingle my palate.
Paneer Chilly Milly:- A good spicy dish with lots of paneer.
Tandoori Lollypop:- This was a good dish which was served on skewers to us. Try to eat this before it runs cold as it becomes a little hard to chew once it turns cold.
Chicken Singapore Chilly:- A very nice spicy dish with small chicken chunks and bell peppers.
Chicken Satay:- Long juicy pieces of chicken marinated in sauces and spices served in wooden skewers.
Chicken 65: Another Chinese preparation with garlic and red chilies.
Egg Omlette:- We had 2 different versions of this one with the chilies and cheese and one without chilies and cheese. Both preparations were good and on point. I only disliked the presence of a few eggshells in the cheese egg omlette preparations (personal choice).
Egg Bhurji:- This dish was certainly a simple Bhurji pav and was well cooked ensuring the egg retained its softness.
Chole Bature:- A simply delicious dish with a perfectly well-cooked chole cooked in nice wholesome spices of gravy and served with hot baturas.
I also had some yummy strawberry donuts, red velvet & black forest pastries and a chocolate tart. The chocolate was perfect in the tart but the tart itself was a little bit hard to bite into.
Oh yes, I even tried their Sangrias and the best of the lot was the Bourbon Sangria.
All in all a perfect way to relax on a Sunday afternoon. Do visit this place if you haven't already visited.
