Behrouz Biryani - Mulund West

Was craving for some Chicken Biryani and we didn't want to order from the regular joint. So checked out the options and found that Behrouz Biryani was delivering to our address. Placed the order via Zomato App and made the payment.

I had heard a lot about Behrouz Biryani before and that led to ordering from them. And I am glad we did. The food was delivered in about 35 mins from the time we placed the order. Behrouz in Persian means Prosperous / Successful. So we had a truly lavish meal for dinner.

Murgh Koobideh:- Made out of minced chicken mixed with cardamom and green chillies. Cooked as per customer requirement of less spicy or spicier. The dish boasts to be the food of the King and his subjects. Truly stands to its name. The minced chicken just melts in your mouth exploding the taste of the herbs.

Murgh Kefta Biryani:- A truly delicious and aromatic biryani with wholesome flavor which makes you want to eat more. The Keftas (kebabs) are made of minced chicken and herbs. The gravy is cooked in creamy butter and then a layer of the aromatic rice is added on top and garnished with sliced almonds and raisins. Loved this biryani truly especially due to the taste you get of the Keftas. I liked it so much that I couldn't stop myself from over-eating. A definite delicacy from Behrouz Biryani. I would definitely like it if the gravy was a little bit more in the rice as it will make it more pleasant to enjoy the biryani. Found the biryani a little dry for my taste due to the gravy to rice proportion. But other than that the biryani was simply irresistible. And the quantity definitely suffices 2 persons (had ordered the king size)
