Bharwan Da Dhaba - GT Road, Amritsar

We visited this place for lunch while in Amritsar. It located in Alpha One Mall on GT road. Reached the place and browsed through the menu. We ordered for a Parantha Thali & Spl. Veg Thali. Waited for a few mins and the thalis were on our table. The Parantha Thali had 3 Rotis (I ordered for Rotis instead of Paranthas), Chana Masala, Dal Makhani & Boondi Raita.

The Dal Makhani was truly creamy and tasted yumm. The Chana Masala was made to perfection with the spicy blending in so well. The paneer masala was kind of okay though the paneer pieces were soft I felt some more work with the spices would do it wonders. I am not a fan of Boondi Raita (not really a fan of milk products sply. curd items) but I still had a couple of spoons and it tasted really good. The food was served hot and we enjoyed hogging on the food due to two main reasons. One the food was really good and the second being the temperature outside even in the afternoon though being sunny was still very cold. And I love to eat hot steaming delicious food on cold days.

Finally, we ordered for Matka Kulfi which was served with a small spoon and a small Matka covered with a fancy cloth. The ice cream was good but a little bit too hard for our liking due to overcooling. But in every bite of it you will find nuts and raisins.
