The Barking Deer Brewpub - Kamala Mills, Lower Parel

This is my second visit to this amazing place. I had to delete my previous review on Zomato to make room for the new one. Had reserved a table at this place for a Sunday Brunch with friends. It starts at 12 noon and goes all the way up to 4 pm.

We reached around 1230 since it was raining and found little bit traffic along the route. Were shown in our table. Frankly, we were the only ones at Barking Deer Brewpub at that hour. I enquired and got to know most of the guests will arrive only post 1 pm.

We were given their crafts for sampling in a shot glass. Sipped and decided on the first round of beer along with starters. It is worth mentioning that they have a new world cuisine comprising of 20+ dishes every Sunday for brunch. When we had been there it was a Mexican Sunday Brunch and they are priced reasonably too.

The starters were Mexican Veg Triangles, Chicken Buns, Jalapeno Stuffed Chicken, Pork Sausage (personal favorite), Corn Chilli Tart, Tomapeno Bruschetta & Baja Fish Cakes.

We enjoyed relishing on all the dishes but as mentioned above our personal favorite and star of the day was the pork starter, Pork Sausage Con Queso which was cooked to perfection with the right blend of spices. We ate 5 plates of this starter in between our drinks of all the beers on tap that day and also some wine and sangrias.

We ordered some Cheese Omelette with mashed potatoes and some Pizza A La Chicken Mexicana which was again another favorite of ours though we didn't order it again.
