Was contemplating on what to eat while on my way back from Kochi after attending a cousins marriage. Since it was an evening flight and that too was delayed we thought of having dinner and then heading home. Checked up a few experiences listed on WowTables and shortlisted this place. Called up the Concierge and requested for a table for 2 at 10:45 pm since we were heading directly to the place from Airport. Got confirmation on my mobile the moment I landed in Mumbai for a 10:30 pm booking. Reached around 10:45 pm and was immediately shown to my table as the person recognized us that we had booked via WowTables since we were carrying a piece of luggage.
I loved the ambiance which was dimly lit with a very vintage feel to the entire place. To begin with, we were shown the customised Menu and Uttam (our table server) explained the varieties of the dish offered. We chose a Torte di Pollo (chicken) for starters followed by Pizza Verdura (veg pizza) and Peene con Pollo e Pesto (chicken). We also ordered a Blue Lagoon Slush & a Green Lime Soda. The blue slush was OK but I just enjoyed sipping the Green Lime Soda as it had a very refreshing taste to it (reminded me of the Parle Poppins green candy). We thoroughly enjoyed every meal esp the Verdura (pizza) and to end the experience we ordered a Tiramisu.
What I loved about the place was one thing and that was Uttam kept coming to our table after every dish/course and kept asking for the feedback on the dish. So yes I would definitely say that the management is doing a good job and a Big Thumbs Up for that.
Definitely look forward to visiting them again to try their Al-a-carte menu.
