Lake View Cafe- Renaissance Hotel, Powai
Had reserved a table here for a birthday. reached a bit late than the reserved time but was continuously in touch with the manager from the restaurant. Anyways a friend of mine had already delivered the custom-made birthday cake and it turned out to be a surprise for my friend. The lake view from our table was comforting and we loved the ambiance. Clicked a lot of photos. Unfortunately, we were so hungry that once the food came we just started hogging on it.
We had ordered for House spiced potato wedges along and Murg Kali Mirch tikka and in grills, we ordered for Chk breast mushroom risotto with steam veggies and Charmoula Chk lemon risotto (thanx to the chef who confirmed that they can indeed make this dish with chk instead of the prawns). Had the amazing food gazing at the lake and we literally were so full after eating that my friend was not in a mood to eat anything later that evening. I guess after spending an hour and a half we both left for Marine drive where we went to Dome intercontinental for the evening meal. Reviewed separately.
I would definitely say that my experience with Lake View Cafe was far more satisfying than my experience at Dome. A must try!!
