Farzi Cafe - Lower Parel

Had visited this place with family on a Sunday afternoon for lunch. This is yet another restaurant under the Jiggs Kalra Brand. Highly recommend you to book a table and proceed to avoid disappointment. This ambiance is quite funky unlike the other outlets owned by this brand house.

The food served here is Indian Cuisine with an amazing mix and match touch of global cuisine. Standing true to the name of Illusionary Food Art. So be prepared to be stunned by the flavors that will explode in your mouth with the food you order here. Service is quite quick and I really feel that this is their added USP along with the food they serve.

Starters:-

Dal Chawal Arancini, Achar-Papad Chutney - The presentation was quite elegant. Loved the flavors that exploded in my mouth with the dal chawal just melting in my mouth and the crispy mini papad adds the punch to the flavors. (I had managed to put the entire dal chawal ball just to get the feel of the flavors).

Farzified Vada Pav - Again in terms of presentation loved the chillies arranged atop the vada with a dash of green chutney.

Rajasthani Pyaaz ki Kachori, Masala Kathal, Aloo Rassa Reduction - Served in a dish resembling the oyster shell and yes the presentation was again elegant.

Tandoori Margarita Kulcha with Bloody Mary Ketchup - Loved the soft Kulchas.

Main Course:-

Asparagus & Water Chestnut Kurma, Fresh Coconut Appam - The appam was buttery soft and the kurma delicious with the crunchy water chestnut.

Ratatouille Bhaji Maska Focaccia - Just loved the presentation of the maska pav in the toy truck. Was heavenly in taste.

Desserts:-

Chocolate Dirt Pile - the Chocolate paradise for chocolate lovers. Word of warning though. You just can't have one spoon.

An experience one should not miss. I am definitely looking forward to visiting the place again since the last time I visited we restricted to having only Veg food. But the next visit would be reserved exclusively for non-veg gastronomy along with the drinks with Farzi-twist.
