Citrus - Leela Palace & Resorts, Mumbai

Who doesn't wish to have a lazy Sunday Royal Brunch? I am sure everyone does ! Had been to this amazing place which boasts of a lavish 7-course buffet spread on the Christmas day. Being here was absolutely a royal treat for your eyes on such occasions. Since we were before the time we whiled away our time checking out the painting and the Christmas goodies.

Brunch time begins and we check out the spread and are amazed at the variety. We were shown to our table by the pool-side. We request for a change of table due to the sun-rays falling exactly on the spot our table was. The staff was more than happy to help us with it.

Settled down and started with the entree dish. Starters had quite a number of things ranging from variants of cheese to turkey. I picked up the smoked chicken (loved it) and herbed turkey (didn't like it much) and some cured ham and veg sushi. Also enjoyed the pasta at the live counters and the chicken burger. All being washed down with brewed drinks (beer).

Proceeded to have Chicken Dum Biryani and Mutton Biryani and also tried a little bit of Jeera Rice and Dal Makhani (was really good).

Desserts we had an amazing variety right from pastries of various kinds to Panna cottas to candies to chocolate souffle.I could barely walk after this sumptuous meal as was feeling damn sleepy.

I really recommend this place to everyone who is staying in Mumbai and also to those who visit. Its one kind of a royal experience in life.
